My favorite story about your dad is how you and I were eating and talking one day and we somehow got to the topic of your dads wheelchair and I cracked a joke about it. We laughed about it and moved on. Later that night you’re on FaceTime with your dad and you tell him the exact joke I told you and I was so embarrassed, but then I remembered how you said how he’s one of those chill parents and would probably laugh about it. And laugh at it he did. I really loved those FaceTimes with you and your dad because we would talk about some of the most ridiculous and funniest things that would happen on campus or just in the Corps. It’d be especially funny when we’d be having girl drama and you and I are just babbling on about endless “she did this and he did that” and your dad would nonchalantly chime in with some out of pocket dad joke. He was just a really funny guy without even trying. Lastly I’m really really greatful for all the yummy food he’d make you for the semester that you’d then end up sharing with me!
