Andy S. Burt was one of those people who didn’t just talk about inclusion … he lived it.
In his work.
In his advocacy.
In the way he showed up in conversations.

I had the privilege of interviewing Andy a few times, including on Blended, and every single time I walked away having learned something new.
(And laughed.)
And thought a little deeper about how we design spaces that actually work for everyone.

Andy reminded me that inclusion isn’t accidental.

It’s intentional.
It’s a choice.
And it starts with listening … especially to voices that are too often overlooked.

His advocacy for those in wheelchairs wasn’t performative.
It was personal.
And it helped shape conversations that still matter today.

I’m grateful for the time, the insight, and the honesty he shared with me and with so many others.

His children deserve to know the impact he made.
That impact is still being felt
